Haaland buys Norway's most expensive book - then gives it away to library

Oslo [Norway], March 25: Norwegian football star Erling Haaland, 25, has bought the most expensive book in his country's history. Together with his father Alf-Inge, he bought a 1594 edition of Snorri Sturluson's Kings' Sagas for 1.3 million Norwegian kroner ($134,000) in December, according to the NTB news agency. But he did not intend to keep it. "I was never a big reader," Haaland said in a statement from his home municipality of Time on Tuesday.
