Hanoi [Vietnam], August 13: Pham Hoang Thu Uyen celebrated her birthday with a feminine-style photoshoot before embarking on her journey to compete at Miss Earth 2026.
In her latest photoshoot, Pham Hoang Thu Uyen wore a pink strappy dress, highlighting her sweet beauty. Sharing her thoughts on turning 29, the beauty from Hai Phong said that a year ago, she was still uncertain about the path she wanted to take, while now she is clearer about what she wants to become.
Pham Hoang Thu Uyen's new journey
Thu Uyen graduated with a degree in Business Administration and currently works in the healthcare and beauty industry. She is 1.7m tall with measurements of 84-61-94. Over the past year, the beauty queen has had the opportunity to enter new environments, most notably participating in Miss Earth 2026. She says the biggest change in her is that she is no longer in a hurry to prove herself, but instead wants to dedicate time to learning, accumulating experience, and creating real value.
Besides her work, Thu Uyen maintains an active presence on social media, sharing the knowledge and experience she has accumulated throughout her career. Her posts mainly revolve around beauty care, health, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Thu Uyen still wants to seek opportunities and pursue her dreams. However, she believes that to go far, each step requires preparation and a solid foundation. "Just love, strive, and live life to the fullest, but don't forget to enjoy your own journey," Thu Uyen believes.
According to the beauty queen, she wants to be able to move quickly when opportunities arise but still know what she's aiming for. Besides work, Thu Uyen also wants to maintain balance and appreciate those who support her. "At this new age, I hope to get closer to my dreams while maintaining balance and appreciating those who are always by my side," she said.
In the coming time, Thu Uyen will focus on preparing for Miss Earth 2026. She sees this as both an opportunity and a responsibility, and therefore wants to prepare seriously to fulfill her role. However, the beauty queen from Hai Phong said that her goal is not just about the result. She wants to create a journey with her own unique mark, spreading the image of Vietnamese women who are knowledgeable and understand what they pursue.
Looking back on her journey from competing domestically to having the opportunity to test herself in an international competition, Thu Uyen realized that "no serious effort is meaningless." "If you ask what has changed most about me, it's probably my readiness. If in 2023 I declined because I knew I wasn't ready, now I understand better what I have, what I lack, and what I want to bring to Miss Earth," she shared.
Faced with skepticism when given the opportunity to compete on the international stage , Thu Uyen believes it's normal. Instead of trying to explain or convince people, she wants to dedicate her time to preparing thoroughly for this journey.
"Currently, I am focusing on improving my physique, catwalk skills, foreign languages, communication skills, knowledge, and environmental projects. For me, the biggest pressure is still responsibility. Doubt is also a form of motivation. And I think the best way to respond is not with words, but with what I show," the beauty from Hai Phong confided.
Thu Uyen is considered a candidate with a strong educational background. For her, knowledge isn't just something to boast about as an achievement; what matters is how one uses it. According to her, her experiences studying, working, and interacting internationally have helped her become more confident when entering a multicultural environment, enabling her to connect and exchange ideas on broader issues beyond a beauty pageant .
"At Miss Earth, I want people to see the image of a modern Vietnamese woman, beautiful, intelligent, successful, and with her own voice. Phuong Khanh's victory is also a beautiful milestone, giving me more confidence that Vietnamese contestants can absolutely conquer high positions. However, I cannot predict a position or the crown. I know I still have a lot to learn and improve before entering Miss Earth," the beauty queen shared.
