Jaipur (Rajasthan) Aug 05 (ANI): District collectors can impose lockdown, night curfew, containment and other restrictions in a limited area as per requirement in their districts where corona positive cases are on rise. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot directed this while reviewing the situation of COVID-19 spread in the state. CM said that people have become careless about coronavirus after the lockdown opens. Along with this, cases have increased rapidly due to negligence during economic and social activities and also during travelling. It is necessary to strictly abide with the protocol related to corona. He said that the people needed to adopt safety measures such as frequent hand washing, maintaining 2-yards distance, not going out without a face mask and not spitting at public places as the World Health Organization and experts predict corona conditions may worsen in coming days. During the meeting, CM also stressed that if someone in home quarantine violates the rules, then he should be sent to institutional quarantine.
